On Track Connect – Bayside, Glen Eira & Kingston

On Track Connect is a local referral program funded through the Department of Education & Training. Each year the BGKLLEN contacts local young people six months post-schooling who are not doing what they thought they would be and find themselves out of school, further education or work.

Through BGKLLEN’s local contacts, we can put young people in contact with local supports through ‘warm’ referrals to education settings such as TAFEs or Universities or help them find employment support through programs such as Transition to Work or Jobs Victoria Employment Network.

Where the situation is more complex for the young person, supports such as headspace, Taskforce, Family Life or others may be the best starting point or intensive case management programs such as Navigator or Reconnect.
